Who knows?! I and my collegues in the liberal fraction (FDP) of the city council of Cologne got to know recently that another Hard Rock Café will open in our city, we decided immediately to send our congratulations to you. We are sure that you won't regret your decision to expansion to Cologne which is often called "the most northern city of Italy". Cologne is a city of culture not only because it was founded by the Romans over 2000 years ago. Today we still enjoy the Roman origin that can be visited at many places througout the whole town. Beside that, Cologne is a city of Germany's media industry, of sports and sciences. At least 70.000 American visitors each year will confirm that, we are sure. With our gothic cathedral nearby the river Rhine, our fascinating old town and last but not least with a lot of cultural events we are known all over the world. In particular, our famous Cologne Carnival represents the most outstanding qualities of the people of Cologne: tolerance, open-mindedness, hospitality and a sort of "laisser faire-lifestyle" that surely has once been influenced by the French occupation at the beginning of the 19th century. We are therefore looking forward to the opening of the Hard Rock Café in Cologne and would like to thank you for your decision to let the HRC spirit thrive in our wonderful city! There is no doubt that the Hard Rock Café in Cologne will be succesful like all the others! Yours sincerely, Mit freundlichen Grüßen Dietmar Repgen, MdR
